Bradenton -James R Stanek, 54, died unexpectedly, November 27, 2024, at home. He was born August 7, 1970, in Berwyn Illinois. He was the son of James L Stanek and the late Sharon L Stanek (Schultz).
He graduated from Manatee high school, class of 1988. He then worked as an apprentice auto mechanic while acquiring his certifications. He opened Stanek's auto repair and became a successful auto mechanic for 36 years.
He is survived by his children Madison B. Andreu (Stanek), Hunter J. Stanek, Hope L. Winsor (Stanek), and late daughter, Holli M. Stanek, as well as grandson Lowe B. Andreu. Also survived by his siblings, Connee J Hancock (Stanek), Susan A. Lamb (Stanek), and Joyce L. Stanek. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him!
Jim was kind, generous, and adventurous. He loved to fix things and help others. His kindness will always be remembered.
