Bradenton, Florida - Jane Beeman, 86, passed away on February 11, 2025, in Bradenton, FL.

Jane Beeman was born in Brooklyn, NY, to William and Mary Bradley on October 18, 1938. She graduated from St. Anselm Catholic Academy in Brooklyn, NY and attended St. Rose College in Albany, NY where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. She married Donald R. Beeman on February 11, 1961, in Brooklyn, NY. She worked as a Registered Nurse for over 30 years, caring for patients in hospitals, in nursing homes, and in hospice. In her later years, Jane transitioned to being a businesswoman as she managed the corporate finances for her husband's business, DAT Information Services, Inc.

Jane's hobbies included reading, crocheting and scrapbooking but what she loved the most was visiting people and getting to know them. Jane made friends everywhere she went. She was happiest when she was with her family and friends, and she was always looking to make the lives of others easier or happier. Sometimes it would be an article she would clip from the paper to give to one person, or maybe she would come across something in her closet and she would set it aside for someone else. Jane's generosity of spirit extended to her pets as well. Her soft heart led her to adopt older cats from the shelter and she spoiled and loved everyone, regardless of how long they were with her.

And Jane was always up for an adventure, whether it be touring the Eastern seaboard with her husband or building a new home with him in a rural potato field in Salem, NY.

Jane Beeman is survived by her children, Theresa Beeman, Anne Delany, and Donald Beeman, Jr; son-in-law, Patrick Delany; and grandchildren, Sean Delany and Thomas Delany.

A Visitation will be held Sunday, February 16, 2025, 4-6 PM, at Brown & Sons Funeral Homes, 26th Street Chapel, 5624 26th Street West, Bradenton, FL, 34207, with a Service on Monday, February 17, 2025, at Brown & Sons Funeral Homes, 26th Street Chapel.
