Janet Fay Quinn, lovingly known as Nana, was born on June 22, 1944, in Huntington, West Virginia, and passed away peacefully on October 8, 2026, in Bradenton, Florida, surrounded by family. Janet lived her life as a woman of Christian faith, guided by the love of God and sustained by the promise of eternal life. Those who knew her will remember her gentle spirit, her kind heart, and the way she made others feel welcomed and valued.

She was a proud graduate of the Huntington East High School Class of 1962, and she carried the values of hard work, responsibility, and perseverance throughout her life. Janet served as an Administrative Assistant. She also embraced the calling of being a homemaker with great pride. Her life’s work was not only seen in her occupations, but also in the countless ways she cared for her family and supported those she loved.

Janet found joy in the simple and meaningful things in life. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, knitting, and cooking, and she used her gifts to bless others in quiet but lasting ways.

She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Rodney Quinn Jr., whose memory remained close to her heart. Janet is survived by her husband of 64 years, Rodney Quinn; her daughter, Robin Byrd; and her son, Shayne Quinn. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Nigel Quinn (Amanda), Amanda Harlow (Shane), Raymond Quinn (Jazzma), William Quinn (Sonya), and Avery Quinn.

Her legacy continues through her treasured great-grandchildren, Bella, Shawn, Pruett, Lila, Rhiatt, and Edith, each of whom brought her great joy and pride.

She has gone home to be with the Lord, where pain and sorrow are no more. Her family takes comfort in the assurance of God’s promises and in the hope of reunion through Christ. Janet will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished by all who were blessed to know her.
