It is with great sorrow and a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our dear and loving brother, Jawahar Mylavarapu. He passed peacefully in his sleep on September 8, 2024, in Bradenton, Florida. He was born on July 19,1959, in Hyderabad, India.

Jawahar was characterized by his easygoing nature and a deep passion for music, spicy Indian food, and the company of friends and family.

Throughout his life, Jawahar was known for his ability to entertain those around him with humorous anecdotes and jokes, often drawing from his rich tapestry of life experiences. His exceptional talent as a singer of Indian popular music allowed him to sing Hindi movie songs with ease, bringing joy and admiration from all who heard him.

Jawahar's educational journey began at Swami Vivekananda School in Dilsukh Nagar, Hyderabad, India, followed by Peoples High School in Himayat Nagar, Hyderabad. He furthered his education at G. B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology in Pant Nagar, India, where he obtained both bachelor's and master's degrees.

In addition to his love for music, Jawahar enjoyed various hobbies including sports, writing, and traveling. He loved exploring new places and experiences that broadened his perspective and enriched his life.

Jawahar is survived by his siblings, Mona Sunder, Shobhana Mutluru, Aruna Dasika, Rao Tilak, and Sundar Mylavarapu, along with many loving brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lakshminarayan Tilak Mylavarapu and Seetha Tilak Jandhyala.

A Visitation will be held 10 AM – 12 Noon, Friday, September 20, 2024, at Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory 43rd Street Chapel, 604 43rd Street West, Bradenton, Florida 34209, for close family and friends followed by a Hindu religious ceremony.

In lieu of flowers, the family will announce details regarding charitable contributions at a later date, honoring Jawahar's legacy and love for life.

Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory, 43rd Street Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
