Bradenton, Florida - Jeanne Cloud Henderson, aged 94, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 9, 2024. She will be remembered for being a loving Mother, a friend to many, and deeply committed to her Catholic faith. Jeanne was born in Montgomery, Alabama in 1930 to Audrey and Elizabeth Henderson.
She attended high school at Sidney Lanier before studying and receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in pharmacy at her beloved Auburn University in 1952. Go Tigers! In 1954, she married Dr. Rodney Adams and relocated to Bradenton, Florida in 1965 to start his practice. Jeanne was a devoted mother and is survived by a loving family: her four daughters, Lisa Belsito, Beverly Smith, Stephanie Lloyd, and Missy Erickson; her two sons, Rodney and Michael Adams, along with ten grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. She always said she cherished her children and felt blessed to have them in her life.
Her children considered her their "Rock" and will miss her beyond measure. Jeanne also leaves behind a brother, Joe Henderson, and a sister, Beverly Stehlik. Jeanne will join her predeceased brother, Audrey Henderson Jr. in heaven. Jeanne took special joy in camping, golfing, sailing, reading everything in sight, but above all else finding ways to worship and serve the Lord. A funeral mass at Saint Joseph Catholic Church will take place on November 30th at 11:00 AM.
A private burial will be held graveside after mass for family members. For family members and friends of Jeanne a celebration of life will be held at Pier 22 starting at 1:00 PM.
