Jeffrey Jerome Hill, 62 of Bradenton, FL passed away on October 3, 2022, early Monday morning.

He was born in Columbus, Ohio on April 10, 1960.

Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Elizabeth (Banks) Hill, a brother, Steven and a sister, Deborah E. Woods.

Jeff is survived by siblings, a brother Kenneth who resides in Gaithersburg, MD. Janet (Fred) from Stow OH, Sue who resides in Westerville, OH, Karen (Chester) from Houston, TX and Nancy who resides in Boston, MA and many nieces and nephews.

Jeff was married to Peggy Ann on November 28, 2019. They cherished and enjoyed each other’s company immensely. They both were very thankful for the three years they had together and always reminded each other of that every day. Jeff was a family man and was very protective of them and wanted to take good care of them. He loved his dog KoKo and had many nicknames for him. The White Shadow and Koke Master Flash. Jeff has 3 children, Shantecia Hill, Barak Jeffrey Hill and Asher Jerome Hill.

Jeff moved to Florida in approximately 2008. He worked at Woodruff Construction for almost 10 years where he was an Excavator Operator and a Diesel Mechanic where he ran an I-Rock machine. He loved his job and his company was so impressed with his work ethic that after he was hired he was made a Foreman with his own crew and was provided a work truck. He appreciated the Woodruff family atmosphere so much. He loved being a Mechanic and working on cars when he was younger.

Jeff was hilarious and can make you laugh until you cry. He was an amazing cook and loved seeing people enjoy his food. He was also very generous and loved helping people. He loved his God Jehovah and no one or nothing could come between them. He loved helping others and to share the Good News of God’s kingdom. Even though it was hard for him to walk, he made sure he was out early to share the message. Many of Jeff’s close friends knew that he was passionate about his thoughts and feelings. One of Jeff's favorite scriptures was a promise made in Revelation 21:4 that mentions a time here on the earth when death, pain, and tears will be no more.

Jeff was a great man, and he will be greatly missed by his family and friends until we see him again in Paradise. We all know it’s just around the corner.
