John Mueller Davidson left this world on June 12, 2024 at the age of 67 after an active and full life.
John was born on December 4, 1956 in Richmond, IN as the youngest of 3 children to his parents John Trumbull Davidson and Martha Mueller Davidson. He graduated from Richmond High School with the class of 1975 and attended Indiana University in Bloomington.
In 1979, John met his lovely wife, Debra, who recently celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary. They have two daughters and their lives were centered around building lasting memories with them and their families.
John started his career in cabinetry sales at Kemper, and eventually moving on to BJ Cabinets and Whisenhunt Cabinetry. After John and his family moved to Bradenton, FL he continued his craft there and eventually semi-retired at Home Depot.
John had an unwavering and strong faith. When John was very young, his family joined St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Richmond, where he remained an active member and served in many positions while he resided there.
His favorite pastime was playing golf with his long-time friends and had a membership at the Elks Lodge #649 for many years. Although his daughters didn't take to the sport, he eventually shared his love for the game with his son in laws.
John was predeceased by his parents, John T. and Martha. He is survived by his wife, Debi; daughters, Jennifer (James) and Katie (Jonathan); grandchildren, Maxcis and Marley; sisters, Nancy Gottman (David) and Elsa Brown (Chip); many nieces, nephews, and extended family members whom he loved dearly.
The family will have a celebration of his life on Friday, July 26th at Richmond Elks Lodge 649, 2100 US Hwy 27, Richmond, IN 47374. Friends and family can enjoy a round of golf starting at 1:00pm and the celebration of life will start at 5:00pm.
