Bradenton, Florida - Joseph Lamar Godwin of Bradenton Florida went home to be with Jesus his Lord and Savior on Thursday, May 29, 2025. He is retired from Barry Global after 30+ years of working for them. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He is proceeded in death by his family, parents, James Virgil, and Sarah Doris Godwin. His sisters Maude, Shirley, Rhoda Ann, Sarah (Birdie), and Mary. His brothers James Virgil Jr, John Leroy, and David.
He is survived by his loving wife Donna Godwin, his stepson, Ethan Popovich, and Daughter's Mariah Godwin, Jordan Godwin and Kieran Godwin and also survived by his granddaughter Carina Cubberley who is due in August. He is also survived by his loving sister, Peggy Porter, and too many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly. He will be loved and missed by all.
