Joseph W. Mason Jr., passed on February 25, 2024, in Bradenton, Florida. He lived an incredibly full life and died peacefully in his sleep. Joe was born in Frankfort, Indiana in October of 1937. He grew up on a farm and excelled in school with the ambition of a better life. In 1957, he moved to Florida while in the Navy and later earned a degree in accounting from the University of Florida.
Anyone who knew Joe, knows that he was a genius at "finding a deal" and is likely up in Heaven now trying to cut a deal to get a free halo with his wings! He enjoyed many hobbies during his life including crabbing and fishing, working on his farm in Ona, scuba diving, and bringing home unique pets for his kids to enjoy. He told some great stories about his Navy days and his working years as a CPA.
A service will be held Thur., March 21, 2024, at the Sarasota National Cemetery at 2:00 P.M.
