Kassandra A. Mayes, 61, died unexpectedly October 12,2024. She was born September 22nd, 1963, in Palmetto Florida. The daughter of William "Billy" Jackson and Majorie Brooks (Walton).
Kassandra married John A. Mayes Sr. They settled in Palmetto. They Celebrated 31 years together. Kassandra was a loyal member of Turner Chapel A.M.E and St. Stephens A.M.E. Her hobbies included cooking, family time and shopping.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by sister, Zelda Walton and brother, Micheal Walton. She is survived by her husband, John A. Mayes Sr. Her sisters, Ferdiana Walton, Merita Jackson and Sally Jackson; two sons, Quincy Hawkins (Katrina), Carlton Presha. Two stepchildren, John Mays, Jr., and Lucreza Mays. Four grandchildren, Travis Washington, Domonique Rozier, Mya Hawkins (Kevin Sr), Aaliyah Hawkins. Three great grandchildren, Kameron Mick, Kaia Washington, Kevin Jr. And a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be 5 pm - 7 pm Friday October 25, 2024, at St. Stephens Church (629 Ninth Ave E, Bradenton, Florida 34208) with a funeral service to be held 12 PM, October 26,2024 at St. Stephens Church. There will be a burial service at Skyway Memorial burial following the funeral service.
