Kathi Gentile named county employee of the month

BRADENTON - Kathi Gentile received a public round of applause from her co-workers on Tuesday.

The County Commission honored Kathi Gentile as employee of the month for May.

The County Commission on Tuesday honored Gentile as employee of the month for May.

Gentile, a Fiscal Specialist II in the Department of Property Management, was described as very competent and helpful, and someone who faces every challenge with a smile.

On the nomination form prepared by Phillip Hoffman, he wrote, "When called upon for help or advice, she is ready to work with you to find an answer or a way to get an answer. Kathi is a co-worker you enjoy working with and knowing she is doing her best to help you."

Gentile has worked for the county since April 2002

"Kathi performs her assigned duties in a truly efficient, reliable and professional manner," wrote Charlie Bishop, the Construction Services Division Manager in the Property Management Department. "Her resourcefulness and strong sense of professionalism are reflected in her every action."
