Keith Alan Redding, “Papa Keith,” 71, of Fishers, IN/Bradenton, FL, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at his home in Bradenton, FL.

Keith was born August 3, 1954 in Greenfield, IN to Harold and Marilyn (Andis) Redding. His childhood was spent in Greenfield, IN. He was a graduate of Greenfield Central High School and Butler University in Indianapolis, where he was a member of Phi Delta Theta and played the alto sax in the Butler University Marching Band.

His love for fast cars started when he worked summers at his family’s Chrysler dealership, Andis Motors. After he put his son, Vince, through college, he bought his first Corvette. He enjoyed being a Corvette owner and attending Corvette club gatherings. The license plate “PAPASC7” made it easy to know which one was his.

Keith retired as an IT director from Universal Music Group after 30+ years of an enjoyable career. He loved coding, music and problem solving, so Universal was a great fit for him to excel professionally. Most importantly, he met the love of his life, Donna, there.

He valued faith, family and fitness. Family was always a priority for him. Bringing family and friends together for a meal or cookout that he prepared was his favorite thing to do. Fitness and health were very important for him as well. So much so, that he had two gym memberships depending on what kind of workout he was doing.

Keith is survived by his wife Donna Redding; son Vince (Erin) Redding and their children Vinny and Evan; brother Gary (Barb) Redding and their children Joey and Anne; stepdaughter Angela (Dave) Patrick and their children Riley, Aidan, and Emalee; stepdaughter Laury (Jan) Wilkins and grandson Reece; Daphne, his faithful and loving Boston Terrier who accompanied him on all his walks around the neighborhood. Keith was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Marilyn Redding.

A celebration of life service will be held on Tuesday, April 21,2026 from 1:00-3:00pm at the Cambridge Village West Clubhouse 6500 Heritage Ln, Bradenton, FL 34209 for friends and family.
