Killer Tomato tops in Bradenton Yacht Club race

BRADENTON - Killer Tomato took the flag in Aug. 20's race in the summer sailing series at the Bradenton Yacht Club.

The boat finished first in the Spinnaker division with an elapsed time of 1:01:19 and a corrected time of 46:38.

The second-place finisher in the division, Blackstar, had an elapsed time of 1:06:07 and a corrected time of 51:26.

In the Non Spinnaker division, Wind Caller was first with a time of 1:08:55 and a corrected time of 56:49.

The races are held every Thursday night until October. They start at 6:30 p.m. on the Manatee River and begin south of the Bradenton Yacht Club. You don't have to be a member to race.
