Kurt Patrick Klein of Palmetto, Florida passed away on June 19th, 2026, after an extended illness. Kurt was born on February 17, 1952, in Passaic, New Jersey, and grew up in Brooklyn, New York.
He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Clare; his son Brett (Ashley) and his granddaughter Rylee, as well as extended family members and lifelong friends. Kurt graduated from Madison High School in Brooklyn and Kemper Military College in Missouri.
He built a career as a business owner and Private Investigator in the St. Petersburg/Tampa Bay area. He enjoyed boating, fishing, and vacationing in The Keys. Kurt was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and was devoted to his family. He will be deeply missed.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 11th, 2026, at 11:30am at Brown and Sons Funeral Home, 604 43rd Street W. in Bradenton, Florida.
