Lakiera Sharnice Carter, "Tubby," was born on July 19, 1989, to the late Kelvin Carter and Hattie Greer in Bradenton, FL.

She attended Manatee County schools, graduating from Southeast High School in the class of 2008. She also was a Delta Gem and a member of the Annie Gayle Center. Upon finishing Job Corp, she started working at Race- Trac in Palmetto. After leaving there, she started working at WAWA until her health declined.

She was baptized at an early age at Greater Mt. Pilgrim P.B. Church. Lakiera was a sweet, loving, and kindhearted person who always kept a smile on her face. To know her is to love her.

She was preceded in death by her grandarents, father, Kelvin Cater, Sr., and nephew, Julius Carter (JuJu). She leaves to cherish her memories: son, JaMir Carter- Butler; mother, Hattie Greer (Bonnie); five brothers, Sir Taivan Hines, Marquis Carter (Ashley), Kelvin Carter, Jr., Shaidren Carter, and MyKel Carter; three sisters, Ronita Heaven (Brian), LaToya Carter, and Taniqua Carter; one aunt, Sandra Carter; one uncle, Andre Carter; one great- uncle, Rudolph Carter; a bonus son, Aiden Johnson; four special friends, Andrea, Jasmine, LaRee, and Shay; godbrother, Jeremiah Mazon; and a host of nieces and nephews, and cousins and sorrowing friends.
