Lane Carl Kalous, passed away at the age of 61, in Palmetto, Florida, on February 27, 2026.
Lane's love of a beautiful sunset was known to his family and friends. He had a passion for gardening and taking care of his plants.
Lane's ability to strike up a conversation with anyone was well known. The gift of gab that Lane possessed, earned him friends from all walks of life.
Lane is preceded in death is by his mother, Dee Gagne; father, Robert G. Kalous; brother, Rob Kalous; and stepfather, Al Gagne. His surviving relatives include his brother, Geno Kalous (Lisa) of Marion, IL; John Covich (Karen) of Parrish, FL; and sister, Trista Kalous. Lane also had 3 nieces and 2 nephews.
In accordance with Lane's wishes, cremation rites will be accorded and there will be no other service.
