Lanes to close on I-75 starting Monday

Road work on I-75 will result in temporary lane closures this week, the Florida Department of Transportation said in a press release.

Starting on Monday, Feb. 22, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., guardrail work will be conducted on I-75 for the northbound and southbound outside lanes from University Parkway to State Road 70. Weather permitting, the work should last about a week, the department said.

It's part of roadway improvements on the highway that include milling and resurfacing the roadway, working on the shoulder, working on signage, pavement markings and signalization.
