Larry Cain (Rubert L. Cain, II), 53, of Lakewood Ranch, Florida, passed into the hands of God on October 14, 2022.
Larry was born in N. Sydney, Australia on May 13, 1969.
Larry was survived by the love of his life Mary Kate and their three sons Nicholas (22), Dylan (21), and Christopher (15.) He was also survived by his parents Cora Lee & Wayne Cain of Lakewood Ranch and his older brother, David, wife Frances & children Samantha & Max of London, England. Larry had 4 aunts & uncles and 11 cousins.
Larry was raised in Birmingham, Michigan, and moved to Barrington, Illinois where he graduated from High School, attended college at Eastern University in Charleston, Illinois, and was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha. After marrying Mary Kate they moved to Sarasota, Florida where he was a painter/contractor. He was active in N.A. (Narcotics Anonymous) where he acquired many friends and helped with multiple groups. Larry was very athletic - enjoying skiing, waterskiing, boxing, and fishing with his sons. A wonderful personality, funny, loving, and always there to help a friend. He will be missed!
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on November 11, 2022, at the Peace Presbyterian Church, 12705 State Rd. 64 East, Lakewood Ranch, FL 34212 with a reception following in the fellowship hall. Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory 26th Street Chapel, 5624 26th Street West Bradenton, FL 34207 is in charge of the arrangements.
