It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lawrence L. "Lee" Coulter, 86, of Bradenton, Florida. Lee passed away peacefully on Monday, October 21, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones.
Lee was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and a true man of God. His unwavering faith, kindness, and hard work inspired all who knew him. Born on May 2, 1938, in Akron, Ohio, to Grover and Estelle Coulter, Lee spent over 45 years working with Pierce Manufacturing, where he formed lasting friendships and made a lasting impact. He was cherished by many, especially his beloved wife of 64 years, Margaret Coulter, and his sons, Charles Coulter (Lisa), Ricky Coulter (Wendy), and Danny Coulter (Stephanie). Lee is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Grover and Estelle Coulter, his brothers, Milton Coulter and Earl Coulter, and his grandson, Jonathan Coulter.
A Visitation will be held on Friday, October 25, 2024, at 10:30 AM at Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory 43rd Street Chapel, 604 43rd Street West, Bradenton, FL, followed by a Funeral Service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Lee's memory to Terra Ceia United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 141, Terra Ceia, FL 34250. Contributions will support the church's rebuilding efforts following the devastation of Hurricane Milton. Lee will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
