Bradenton, Florida - Leone (Lee) Wilburn, age 78, of Bradenton, Florida passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2024. Leone was born August 11, 1945, in Freemont, Indiana. She graduated from Venice High School and after high school Leone lived in Arlington, Virginia before settling in Bradenton, Florida.
Leone is survived by her husband, Gwin Wilburn, her three children, (Gwin Anthony Wilburn, Heidi Karg, and Christopher Wilburn), her grandchildren, (Brittaney Wilburn, Emily Van Vranken, Samantha Wilburn, and Josh Karg), her great-grandchild, (Hudson Van Vranken) and her dog, (Bailey).
Leone was a kind and loving mom, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to all those who knew her. She loved to garden, sit outside watching the butterflies and birds in her backyard, and bake lots of sweets for those she loved.
The family invites you to a funeral service, Thursday, January 25th, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church in Bradenton, Florida.
