Letter: A BOCC Christmas

Posted
ÔTwas the night before Christmas and what is that Chamber sound?

Why it’s seven commissioners plotting to run Manatee County into the ground.

Dr. Hopes held the meeting where no one could see.

Not even a camera that could catch Commissioner Van Ostenbridge eyeing a Bougainvillea tree.

Before the meeting began, Commissioner Satcher had a prayer to say É

"Dear Lord, let us thank Anthony and the developers for putting us here today.

For we can’t do a thing without consulting them first, or we will be subject to an angry outburst.“

Commissioner Baugh who is always willing to meddle, was very happy that her Vaccine-gate ethics case had settled.

"In honor of my settlement,“ she said with a snark, "I think our fabulous governor should be named for a park.“

Commissioner Kruse looked sad and down on his luck, hoping that for Christmas Santa would bring him a new truck.

When the meeting adjourned and all notes and texts were headed to the shredder, in rolled Saint Nick with a certified letter.

It was wrapped up nicely in a tidy red bow É and had just one question written É

Where did (Director of Public Safety) Jacob Saur go?
