Lillian Jones Moseley, known as Aunt Sissy to many of her nieces and nephews, peacefully passed away on June 23, 2024, at the age of 92. She was born on November 1, 1931, in Edinburg, Texas and was the last survivor of seven children born to James Milton Jones and Edith Lampman Jones.
Her family moved to Georgia in 1938. She graduated from Warner Robins High School in Warner Robins, Georgia in 1949, where she was voted the friendliest of her class. In May 1950, she married her husband, John Frederick Moseley, and they were married for 72 years before his passing in January 2023 at the age of 99. They made their home in Bradenton, Florida for 60+ years.
Lillian is survived by her son, Randall Moseley of Ft. Pierce, Florida, and her daughter, Renea Glendinning of Sarasota, Florida. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at the Palma Sola Cemetery in Bradenton, Florida at 11:00 am.
