Lincoln Middle FFA Invites Public to Garden Gala Saturday

BRADENTON – A festival featuring fresh food and valuable information about good nutrition will take place this Saturday, April 5, when Lincoln Middle School’s FFA hosts its first “Garden Gala: Nourishing Our World” event at the school from 9 a.m. to noon. Admission and parking is free and the public is invited.

Lincoln Middle is home to one of the premier middle school FFA programs in the country, under the direction of Instructor Kimberley Lough. Saturday’s Garden Gala will be a showcase for Lincoln’s FFA and it will include information on how to grow fresh fruits, vegetables and herbs; free cooking demonstrations with fresh Florida produce and free interactive game booths with prizes and giveaways. Food vendors will also be on hand offering food items for purchase.

Lincoln Middle is located at 305 17th St. E., in Palmetto.
