Linda was born March 17, 1940 in Odessa, Texas to Geraldine and Alvin Collier. She graduated from Baylor College with a Bachelor's degree in Teaching, and continued her education by completing the Montessori program. In 1968, she moved to Illinois to start teaching at the Flossmoor Montessori school. It was there that she met and married the love of her life, Robert Moore in May of 1981. They shared a daughter, Leisa, who was Linda's pride and joy. They were blessed with three amazing grandchildren Mathew (April) Dandino, Benjamin Dandino and Mallory Dandino, whom they loved very much, along with several great- grandchildren.

In 1988, Linda and Bob moved to Sarasota, Florida. Soon after, they started their own Montessori School in Bradenton, Florida. The Moore School, built on hard work, love and determination. They spent the next 26 years dedicating themselves to creating an incredible educational program to build a foundation of education for each of their students' future successes.

The Moore School would become more than a place to educate children, over the years the children and their families became extended family. Together they built a community of cherished friendships. Linda enjoyed receiving letters from past students, with updates of their accomplishments, graduations and marriages.

In 2015, they retired and moved to St. Joseph, Michigan to be closer to their daughter.

In Michigan, Bob and Linda, continued their love for teaching by volunteering in the Benton Harbor School District, focusing on the children with the greatest needs. Unfortunately, Covid ended their ability to continue.

Linda loved her family above all else, especially her husband, Bob. She always made a point to make the people in her life to feel loved, honored and special. Linda will be greatly missed by those who had the honor of knowing and loving her.
