It is with both deep sorrow and joyful remembrance that we, Taylor and Riley, share the passing of our beloved mother, Lisa Louise Burgess (Allen) of Bradenton, Florida. Born on March 25, 1967, and passing peacefully on October 7, 2024, Mom lived a life full of love, compassion, and strength.
Preceded in death by our father, her sister, and her parents, Mom carried their memories with grace and a heart full of wisdom. She was the light in every room, the comforting voice in every storm, and the glue that held our family together. She was an amazing wife, mom, sister, mimi and friend-loved deeply by all who were lucky enough to know her.
Though we mourn her loss, we also celebrate the remarkable woman she was-one who taught us resilience, kindness, and the importance of laughter. She leaves behind not just memories but legacies of love, strength, and warmth that will continue to inspire everyone who knew her.
We invite all who loved her to join us in honoring her life, as we hold on to the joy she brought to so many.
Funeral services will be held at Brown and Sons Funeral Home 26th Street Chapel, 5624 26th Street West, Bradenton, FL 34207, on Sunday, October 20th. Public visitation will take place from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, followed by a service at 3:00 PM.
