BRADENTON -- Several local governments are in session this week, including the Manatee School Board on Monday night. Fresh off a contentious Council of Governments meeting, the Manatee County Commission will convene for a regular meeting on Tuesday. The Bradenton City Council will meet Wednesday morning with a workshop to follow, and the county planning commission convenes on Thursday.
