Local Law Firm Offers Scholarships to Manatee County Seniors

PALMETTO – With the cost of college tuition on the rise, Kallins Little, and Delgado Personal Injury Attorneys of Palmetto are trying to do their part to help. In 2006, the firm began a scholarship program for high school seniors in Manatee County and have since awarded over a hundred thousand dollars in scholarship money to local Students.

Winners for the scholarships are chosen based on their grade point average, community service, extracurricular activities, and an essay written by each applicant. 10 scholarships are awarded in all. One $3000 scholarship, three $2000 scholarships, and six $1000 scholarships.

The application deadline is March 7 at 5 p.m. Applications can be filled out at www.kallinsandlittle.com.
