Bradenton, Florida - Loretta June Albritton, of Bradenton, FL peacefully passed away May 3, 2024 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born January 19, 1937, in Saint Petersburg, Florida, Loretta moved to Sarasota/Bradenton as a young girl where she would raise her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents Vera and Enoch McCain, her husband, Everett Albritton, and her daughter, Gina Michelle Mosley.
Loretta leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion as a cherished mother and grandmother. She is survived by her children: Larry Mosley (Carol), Sharon Jenkins, Pam Shumate, and Clint Mosley (Tiffney) and loving step-daughter, Phyllis Jenkins and step-son, Tim Albritton.
Her memory will forever be cherished by her grandchildren, Larry Mosley (Kim), Brett Mosley, Crystal Gleitsman, Candace Jenkins, Cyle Mosley, Bryor Mosley, Bailey Mosley, Shane Jenkins, and Michael Jenkins She also leaves behind great-grandchildren, Nathan Mosley, Lexi Mosley, Lilli Gleitsman, and Trevor Mosley and several precious nieces and nephews.
Loretta was a long time member of Colonial Oaks Baptist Church of Sarasota. Her life was a testament to her unwavering faith and devotion to her family. She was a woman of prayer, finding solace and strength in her spiritual beliefs. Her presence brought warmth and joy to those around her, and her legacy of love will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Let us take comfort in the simple yet profound prayers she shared as a mother and grandmother, guiding her family with love and wisdom.
Services will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at 1 PM, at Happy Gospel Church 1915 53rd Ave E Bradenton, FL 34203. Please join us immediately following the service for a repast for fellowship and sharing of memories.
