Louise May Josey peacefully passed away on September 16th, 2023 she was at home surrounded by her loving family. She was 90 years old. Louise was born and raised in Buffalo New York and then moved to Florida in 1959 with her family. She always wanted a large family and loved being a stay at home mom to her five kids. Her first career was as a AAA sales woman. She then followed her dream and opened Josey's Poseys Florist in 1987. She loved working with her family all around her for 36 years. She was a lifelong Catholic, who was happy to share her faith and wisdom with others.
Louise was welcomed into heaven by her beloved husband, Bill Josey; her mother, Clara Morrison; her sister, Shirley Smith; and her son, Steve Josey.
She leaves behind a large, loving family, her children; Karen (Tim), Annette (Mark), Kevin Josey, Liz (Greg) Altenbernd. She will be forever and dearly missed by her grandchildren; Melissa (Zac), Cody (Kelsey), Tim (John), Ashley (Becca), Taylor (Brittany), Corey (Kasidy), Katie (Bauer) and Maddie; and her precious great-grandchildren; Colson, Colton, Iliana and Wilder. Always close to Louise's heart was her sister, Patty Phillips; nephew, Chris Phillips, and great-niece, Harley (Erik).
She will remain forever in our hearts, and we know that Louise will be the busiest guardian angel in heaven.
