Lucille Anne Brown, 91, of Bradenton, FL peacefully passed away, October 27, 2023. She was born to the late Robert and Vera Newsome of Baltimore, Maryland on September 23, 1932. Ms. Brown graduated from Sparrows Point High School in 1948 and received an Associate of Arts degree from Manatee Community College in 1976. Ms. Brown is survived by two children; Lynne Menard (Vic) of Bradenton; and Anne Lee (Bill) of Palmetto, FL. She is also survived by four grandchildren; Amy Menard Laursen (Dan), Michelle Menard Hudson (Michael), Bill Lee Jr., (Amy), and Wesley Lee (Alaina). Ms. Brown has five great-grandchildren. She was a loving mother and also worked as a medical transcriber for Landry & Moss Oncology for 25 years.
The private burial will take place at the Groover Funeral Home in Ellenton, FL. Donations may be made in support of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Manatee County at bgcmanatee.org in lieu of sending flowers.
