Lynda Ann Bellows, aged 86, passed away peacefully on March 20, 2025, in Bradenton, FL. Born in Durand, MI, on December 10, 1938, she was a beacon of light and love to all who knew her. Lynda's life was marked by her loving nature, her intelligence, and her friendly demeanor that endeared her to many.
Lynda was the beloved daughter of the late John Powlison and Helen Paddleford Powlison. She was a devoted wife to her late husband, James Bellows, with whom she shared many cherished moments.
Lynda's legacy continues through her children: her late son Lamont Bellows and is survived by his wife Brenda; her son Eric Bellows and his wife Connie; her daughter Lisa Bellows; her daughter Lauri Hardt and her husband Steve; and her son John Bellows. She was a proud grandmother to sixteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy and pride to her life.
Lynda was a lifelong learner with a particular passion for history.
Lynda dedicated much of her life to her family, fulfilling the role of a homemaker with grace and love. She worked alongside her husband at their family-run funeral home, where she provided comfort and support to many during their times of need. Her warmth and empathy made her an invaluable part of the community and the business.
