Lynne Denise Snyder

Posted

Lynne Denise Snyder, born Lynne Denise Delp, went home to be with the Lord, surrounded by the love of the family she cherished so deeply.

Lynne was the beloved wife of Richard David Snyder, her husband and partner in life. Above all else, Lynne was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, daughter, and friend. Her family was one of the greatest joys of her life, and the love she gave them will continue to live on through generations.

Lynne was a loving mother to her three children: Rhonda Sanders and her husband, Rob Sanders; Tara Walling and her husband, Robert Walling; and Ricky Snyder and his wife, Steviemarie Snyder.

She was a proud grandmother to Austin Webb, Richie Sanders, Wesley Sanders, Breanna Walling, Robert Walling, Hunter Walling, and Bryson Walling.

Lynne was also blessed to be a great grandmother to Luka Webb, Kaysyn, and Kash. Her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren were precious to her, and the love and memories she gave each of them will be carried forward forever.

Lynne was born to Charles Delp and Ruth Houser Delp, who preceded her in death. She was a beloved sister to Cheryl Creswell, Sandra Naso, Charlene Archer, and Lori Kohler. Her sister Charlene also preceded her in death.

Lynne’s faith was an important part of her life. Through every season, especially the difficult ones, she held tightly to her faith and the promise of eternal life. While those who love her will miss her more than words can express, there is comfort in knowing that she is now in the arms of Jesus, free from pain and at peace.

We find comfort imagining the reunion that awaited her in Heaven, being welcomed home by her mom and dad, her sister Charlene, and the loved ones who went before her.

Lynne leaves behind far more than names on a family tree. She leaves behind a lifetime of memories, laughter, lessons, traditions, strength, and love. Her presence touched her family and friends in ways that cannot be measured, and a piece of her will forever remain in every life she touched.

This is not goodbye forever. Her family finds peace in knowing that one day they will see her again. Until then, they will carry her love with them, speak her name often, tell her stories, and keep her memory alive for the generations that follow.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made in Lynne’s honor to Bible Baptist Church, a reflection of the faith that meant so much to her. For those who wish to support the family during this difficult time, a GoFundMe has also been established to help with expenses.

“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.”

2 Timothy 4:7
