BRADENTON – Main Street Live continues its 2013-14 season with its second street party this Thursday from 5 p.m. to midnight. The event takes place on Old Main Street between Manatee Ave. and 3rd Ave. West. This week's event features live music from Kim Betts & Gamble Creek Band.
The Gamble Creek Band is fronted by Kimberly Betts, the daughter of legendary guitarist Dickey Betts of the Allman Brothers. The band plays popular country and southern rock hits that are sure to have people dancing in the streets. High energy guitar solo’s and vocal harmony are Gamble Creek’s trademark and their homegrown music is sure to get the party started.
Music ends at 10 p.m., but Old Main Street will remain closed until midnight. The city asks that all vehicles be moved off Old Main by 2:30 p.m. so that vendors can set up.
