Manatee Community Spotlight: Capt. William Dixon of Manatee Sheriff's Office Completes FBI Program

BRADENTON – On December 14, 2012, Captain William “BG” Dixon graduated from the 251st Session of the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia. Captain Dixon was among 263 law enforcement officers from around the world who completed the 11 week program which consists of advanced training in investigations, management and fitness. 

The National Academy is internationally known for its academic excellence and you must be invited to attend. The National Academy began in 1935 and has a total of 46,342 graduates. 

Captain Dixon is Commander of the Child Protection Investigations Division and has been with the Sheriff's Office since 1988.
