Manatee County Accepting Applications for Children

MANATEE COUNTY – Manatee County has one opening on the Children’s Services Advisory Board which advises and makes recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners on the priorities and expenditures of the County's funding source dedicated to children’s services.

The CSAB is comprised of 13 members who are appointed by the Commission to serve three-year terms. The following position is open:

• One representative from the Family Law Division/Guardian ad Litem;

The CSAB meets on the third Wednesday of each month at 3 p.m. on the fourth floor of the Manatee County Administrative Center, 1112 Manatee Avenue West, Bradenton.  The group also may meet weekly on Wednesdays, during the annual program funding review process, from March through May.

Members serve on a volunteer basis. Members and their spouses must also disclose any affiliation they have had over the past year with any organization that applies for Children’s Services funding.
