Manatee Planning Commission Agenda Results: 2/13/2014

BRADENTON -- At Thursday's Manatee Planning Commission meeting, commissioners recommended the verbiage defining the two current CRA be voted out of the county's Comp Plan, to allow replacement for the new Tax Increment Financing (TIF). The new TIF is a much larger district that will encumber southwest Manatee County. In other business, members recommended approval for a 74 residential-unit development against the protest of surrounding residents.
