Manatee Players Announce Upcoming Season

BRADENTON — The Manatee Players recently announced the company's upcoming 2025/26 season. Producing Artistic Director Rick Kerby brings a lineup that celebrates heart, humor, and humanity.

2025-2026 Manatee Players Main Stage Season Line-Up:

• Prince of Egypt - Aug 21-31 - From the creators of Wicked comes The Prince of Egypt: The Musical—a powerful stage production that brings the story of Moses to life with soaring music, stunning visuals, and unforgettable performances.
• Hello, Dolly! - Oct 23-Nov 2 - Join the unforgettable Dolly Gallagher Levi in Hello, Dolly!—a heartwarming, song-filled romp through 1890s New York celebrating love, second chances, and living life out loud.
• Frozen - Dec 4-21- This musical bring the beloved story to life in a dazzling production filled with breathtaking effects, iconic songs, and a heartwarming journey through the magic of Arendelle.
• Once Upon a Mattress - Jan 22-Feb 1 - Think you know The Princess and the Pea? Think again! Once Upon a Mattress flips the classic fairy tale upside down in this hilarious, high-energy musical that’s bursting with charm, cleverness, and contagious fun for all ages.
• Bright Star - Mar 5-15 - From Grammy winners Steve Martin and Edie Brickell, Bright Star is a heartfelt, bluegrass-infused musical about love, redemption, and second chances in the American South.
• Big Fish - Apr 23-May 3 - Step into a world of wonder with BIG FISH, a magical and deeply moving musical that celebrates the power of storytelling, the love between father and son, and the extraordinary hidden in the everyday.

2025-2026 Manatee Players Studio Season Line-Up:

• Gutenberg! The Musical - Sept 4-21 - Get ready to laugh out loud with GUTENBERG! THE MUSICAL!, a high-energy spoof where two hopeful writers hilariously pitch their over-the-top Broadway epic about the inventor of the printing press.
• Misery - Oct 16- Nov 2 - From the mind of Stephen King, MISERY is a chilling stage thriller that delves into obsession, captivity, and survival—guaranteed to keep you on the edge of your seat.
• Terms of Endearment - Jan 8-18 - Terms of Endearment is a heartfelt, emotionally rich play that explores the unbreakable bond between mother and daughter with warmth, wit, and honesty.
• The Cemetery Club - Feb 19- Mar 1 - Heartfelt and humorous, The Cemetery Club follows three lifelong friends as they navigate love, loss, and enduring friendship through monthly visits to their late husbands’ graves.
• And Then There Were None - Apr 9-26 - Get ready for edge-of-your-seat suspense with Agatha Christie’s masterful mystery where ten strangers on a remote island face a chilling fate, one by one.
