Manatee Players Announces Auditions for 2013-14 Season

BRADENTON – Have you always wanted to be in a musical? Auditions for the Manatee Players’ productions of Les Miserables, Grease and Always Patsy Cline will be held June 9 & 10 at 7 p.m. at the all new Manatee Performing Arts Center in downtown Bradenton.  

There are many adult and teen roles in Les Miserables. Performance dates are August 3-25. Grease has a wide variety of roles teen and up. Performance dates for it are September 12-29. Always Patsy Cline is a two woman musical. Both actresses must be capable in the country music genre. Performance dates are September 19-October 6.

Those auditioning should prepare a song in their key and be ready for the movement portion of the audition that the director may require. All questions about auditions are to be directed to Rick Kerby at 941-748-0111.

Please note that by auditioning, you are obligating yourself to a considerable rehearsal and performance process. Manatee Players asks that those auditioning be certain that they are willing and able to make this commitment.
