Manatee Players to Hold Auditions for Upcoming Shows

BRADENTON — On Sunday and Monday September 21 & 22, The Manatee Players will hold auditions for four upcoming shows. Auditions will be at 7 p.m. each evening at the Manatee Performing Arts Center on a first come, first up basis.

The auditions will be for parts in the following productions:

"Brigadoon" (Musical) – Director: Steve Dawson
Performances: Jan. 8-25, 2015

"The Foursomel" (Comedy) – Director: Jim Thaggard
Performances: Jan. 15-Feb. 1, 2015

"Into the Woods" (Musical) – Director: Rick Kerby
Performances: Feb. 12 – Mar. 1, 2015

"Agnes of God" (Drama) – Director: Candace Artim
Performances: Feb. 19-Mar. 8, 2015

Those auditioning for the musicals should prepare a song in their key and be ready for any movement portion of the audition that the director may require. These are non-paid volunteer roles in all shows.

Please note that by auditioning, you are obligating yourself to a considerable rehearsal and performance process. Please be certain that you are willing and able to make this commitment.

The Manatee Performing Arts Center is located at 502 3rd Ave. West in downtown Bradenton. Parking is in the Public Parking lot just across the railroad tracks east of the performing arts center.
