Manatee Schools Launches "School Zone" TV Show

BRADENTON – School Zone, a new monthly TV program featuring Manatee County School District Superintendent Rick Mills is now airing its first episode on EDV-TV. The district says that the program is a forum to discuss important issues related to education in Manatee County. Hosted by Stephen Valley, the school district's Director of Communications and Community and Family Engagement, airs on Wednesday and Sunday evenings at 8 p.m. on EDV-TV.

School Zone also runs on Thursday evenings, following re-runs of Manatee County School Board meetings and can also be viewed anytime at the EDV-TV On-Demand website. The pilot episode of the program explores the topic of change within the school district.
