BRADENTON – For Game 1 of Thursday's Doubleheader, the Marauders snapped a four-game winning streak with a 7-6 walk-off win in 10 innings over the Flying Tigers. Josh Bell powered the Marauders offensively, going 3-for-5, scoring three runs, driving in three, and finishing a triple shy of the cycle.
Max Moroff led off in the bottom of 10th inning with a walk. A balk advanced Moroff to second base and Jonathan Schwind’s ground ball to second base advanced Moroff to third. Lakeland shortstop Dixon Machado mishandled Jacob Stallings’ hard grounder, allowing Moroff to score. Robby Rowland retired all nine batters he faced to earn the win.

For Game 2, Orlando Castro carried a perfect game attempt into the seventh inning, but Lakeland exploded for four hits and three runs to knot the score and the Flying Tigers went on to win 4-3 in eight innings. Castro walked the first batter of the seventh inning. Consecutive singles and a ground out to second plated the first Lakeland run. Thomas Harlan took over on the hill and finished the game, taking the loss in relief.
