BRADENTON – The Marauders (11-5) notched a fourth shutout win in an eight day span and swept the Jupiter Hammerheads (6-10) three games in a row, seizing the series finale 4-0 on Saturday night at McKechnie Field. Bradenton has won six straight April games for the first time in franchise history.

Kuhl struck out seven batters and did not allow a walk. Josh Smith pitched two scoreless innings, striking out one, and Robby Rowland pitched a perfect ninth.

Bradenton got another big game at the top of the lineup from Adam Frazier. Frazier had three hits, scored a run and drove in another. Walker Gourley opened the scoring with a two-out double to left off Jupiter starter Trevor Williams (L, 1-3) to bring home Frazier and Ashley Ponce in the third.. Jeff Roy banged two singles, stole a base, and also scored a run in the fifth on a hit by Frazier. Jonathan Schwind’s RBI-single in the sixth inning extended the Marauders lead to 4-0.
