Marcella “Marcie” Pierce, age 87, passed away on June 13, 2023, peacefully at her home in Bradenton while in the loving arms of her husband, William A. Pierce. She was born to Marsena & Ruth Greenslit on their family farm in Warren, VT.
Marcie is predeceased by her youngest son, David William Pierce and her siblings, Buster Greenslit, Judy Ryan and Jilda Greenslit. She is survived by her husband, William A. Pierce; son, Fred Pierce (Lynn); daughter, Valerie Pierce; sister, Marilyn Miller; brother, Allen Greenslit (Sherry); grandchildren: Kimberly German (Brandon), Lauren Pierce, Jay O’Brien, Shannon O’Brien, Christopher Angelidis (Karena); 6 great grandchildren and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins. All of whom she loved and touched deeply. She loved life and she loved people. She was a true patriot.
