He retired in 1987 having completed a 37 year career.
During his time in Fairbanks, Marco enjoyed square dancing, curling and bowling. He was a devoted fan of youth sports and high school and college basketball.
Marco moved to Bradenton, Florida, in 1992 where he enjoyed warm weather and sunshine for the rest of his life.
Marco was predeceased by his parents and his younger brother, Joe Jr. He is survived by his nephew Richard Tremarello and family of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and his sister-in-law, Ann Tremarello of Fairbanks.
There will be no final service at this time but Marco's remains will be scattered at Fielding Lake sometime next summer.
