Margaret Helen Harris, née Woelfel, affectionately known as Peggy, 86yrs old, of Bradenton Florida, passed away on October 19, 2026, in Sarasota Hospice House.

Born on December 24, 1939, in Brooklyn New York to Joseph Woelfel and Elizabeth Wetzel. Margaret lived a life defined by love, kindness, and generosity. She had a giving heart and always put the needs of others before her own.

Margaret worked as a sales specialist. She found happiness in life’s everyday moments and especially enjoyed being outdoors, appreciating the weather and the simple pleasures each day brought.

Above all, Margaret’s greatest joy was her family. She was the devoted wife of Sidney Harris, with whom she shared 58 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they built a family and a lifetime of memories rooted in love and devotion. She showed her love through her actions, always making sure her family—and especially Sidney—was cared for.

Margaret is survived by her beloved husband, Sidney Harris; her three sons, Joseph Harris, Frankie Harris, and Paul Harris; her daughters-in-law, Alyson Harris, Kristy Harris, and Amy Harris; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Joanne Lella; her brother, Roy Woelfel; her brother-in-law, Bob Lella; and many other family members and friends whose lives she touched.

Margaret was a giver, never a taker. Her warmth, kindness, and selflessness made those around her feel loved and cared for. Her love will live on through the family she cherished, the friendships she nurtured, and the countless acts of kindness she shared throughout her life.

Friends will be welcome from 1-2PM with a service following at 2PM on Monday, October 26,2026 at Brown and Sons Funeral Home, 43rd Street Chapel, 604 43rd Street Bradenton, FL 34209. Interment will follow service at Mansion Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Catholic Church, Sarasota Florida.

Her family will forever hold her close in their hearts, grateful for the years they shared, the love she gave so freely, and the lasting legacy she leaves behind.

She was loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure.
