Marilyn Sue (Bordenkircher) Gregory passed away peacefully at her home in Bradenton, Florida on September 21, 2024. She was born September 19, 1940, in Newcomerstown, Ohio to Martha Mae (Shalosky) & Bernard James Bordenkircher.

Marilyn Sue graduated in 1958 from Newcomerstown High School and upon completion of airline school, worked for Capitol & United Airlines in Manhattan, NY. She moved to North Canton, Ohio with her Husband Gordon Gregory in 1962. She was a member of the Little Flower Catholic Church, Canton, Ohio; Saint Andrews Catholic Church, Eagle River, Alaska; Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Bradenton, Florida, and a vowed member of The Holy Family Institute as a Consecrated Widow. Marilyn Sue served on the Canton Garden Center, Greentown Garden Club, and Stark Deanery Council of Catholic Women. She served as a docent for the National First Ladies Library, and a Mary Kay Consultant of 40 years.

She is survived by her son Gordon Thomas "Lou" (Angela) Gregory, son James Mitchel (Ardyth) Gregory, and daughter Wendy Sue (Alan) Janson.

Grandchildren Ashley (Michael) Werling, Victoria Hiestand, Alexandra (Chris) Cramer, Jacob Oscar Gregory, Captain Samuel B. Gregory, Matthew Gregory, Catie (Sam Miller) Gregory, Michaela (Samantha) Hiestand, Lillian (Jesse) Dugan, Christopher Otto Janson, Alison Mae Janson.

Great Grandchildren Henry Werling, David Brierton, Caroline Werling, Zoey Brierton, Chloe Brierton, Evelyn Werling, Chloe Cramer, Archie Miller.

Marilyn Sue is predeceased by Husband Gordon Depew Gregory, her parents Martha Mae & Bernard J. Bordenkircher, Sister Barbara Kay Bordenkircher, and Grandchild Rebecca Lynn (Gregory) Peterson.

Marilyn Sue was a devout Catholic and loved spending time with her friends & family. She collected friends everywhere she traveled & lived from Ohio, New York, Pennsylvania, Alaska, and Florida. Her devotion to the Holy Family Institute over the last eight years brought her great solace on her journey to becoming a Consecrated Widow.

A Memorial Mass with be held Saturday, September 28, 2024, at 9:30am at Saints Peter & Paul the Apostles Catholic Church, 2850 75th Street West, Bradenton, Florida 34209 with a Celebration of Life at the church hall following the mass.

Services in Ohio will be at Little Flower Parish in Canton Ohio and interment at the Jermyn Cemetery in Jermyn. Pennsylvania dates and times to be determined.
