Marilyn J. Whitney, 88, of Bradenton, formerly of Parrish, Florida, and Naples, Florida, passed away Monday, September 16, 2024, in Manatee Springs Nursing and Rehabilitation.
She was born November 13, 1935, to Clinton and Joyce (Ford) Whitney in Owosso, Michigan the oldest of five daughters. Marilyn graduated from Owosso High School.
She worked for Collier County Government in Naples, Florida, for many years and retired from their employment.
She is survived by her daughter, Stephanie, and son, Stephen Whitney; two grandchildren, Ryan and Jason Whitney; two sisters, Judith Lee and Sharon Emery. Marilyn is predeceased by two sisters, June Dorn and Karen Whitney.
A Memorial Service will be held 1 PM, Saturday, October 12, 2024, at Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory 43rd Street Chapel, Bradenton, FL 34209, and they are in charge of arrangements.
