Bradenton, Florida - Marjorie "Marge" Alexander. 90, passed away on August 7, 2024, after a brief illness. Born in Cortland, NY, to Lena Angie (Empie) and Roscoe Charles Roe, she grew up with three older brothers, Bob, Dave and Rocky, all of whom predeceased her.

In January 1951, Marge married Carl Edward Lasater, her high school sweetheart. They raised two daughters, Linda and Barbara in Fabius, NY. In 1971, after both daughters were grown, Marge and Carl packed up all their belongings, sold their home, and started over in Bradenton, Florida, where they both became real estate agents.

After several years, Marge and Carl encountered some obstacles and were divorced. Marge found love again with Carlyle Alexander, who became her second husband. After Carlyle's death in 2005, Marjorie reunited with her first husband, Carl Lasater, and shared the rest of his life, supporting him as he went through Alzheimer's and passed in 2020.

Marjorie is survived by her oldest daughter Linda (Keith) Munson, granddaughters Melody Munson, Mechelle (Jon) Despres and Melissa (Patrick) Bates, and great granddaughters Allison Despres, Madelynn and Abigail Bates. She was preceded in death by younger daughter, Barbara (Peter) Tihy in 2013. Marge is also survived by four stepchildren, Jeanne (David Nettles), Stephen (Sally), Peter (Janet Callahan) and David (Steve Riley) Alexander. Step-grandchildren include Bradley Alexander, Sophia (David) Williams, Austin Alexander, Eva Drago, Christian and Thomas Alexander and four step-grandchildren.

A private family service will be set at a date later this fall.
