Bradenton, Florida - Marjorie Lynne McCauley Martini was called home by the Lord on May 30, 2025, at the age of 82 in Civitavecchia, Italy, following an unfortunate accident. Born on February 13, 1943, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she was a beacon of love and warmth to all who knew her. Marjorie's life was one marked by dedication and service, beginning with her graduation from Olney High School in 1961. She later pursued higher education and proudly earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of South Florida in 1998.
Her educational pursuits paved the way for a distinguished career in various roles that showcased her commitment to community and care. She began her career at Albert Einstein Hospital in Philadelphia and furthered her impact at Bank South and Bank of America in Atlanta, Georgia.
In 1992, Marjorie relocated to Florida where she played a pivotal role in establishing the First Physicians Group. Her career in healthcare continued at Sarasota Memorial Hospital, where she retired as a nurse recruiter. She also served as a Victim's Advocate for the Manatee County Sheriff's Office, a testament to her enduring compassion for others. Marjorie's commitment to her community was unparalleled. She was an active volunteer with a myriad of organizations, including the Forever Dancing Unit with the Ladies Oriental Shrine of North America, Sar-I Court No. 79.
Additionally, she served as Directress for the Royal Order of Jesterettes, Eillim Ive No. 18. Her passion for the arts and community development led her to involvement with the Herrig Art Center and Realize Bradenton. She also devoted time to the Woman's Resource Center, supporting and uplifting those around her. Family was the cornerstone of Marjorie's life. She was a beloved wife to her husband of 64 wonderful years, Charles J. Martini, and a loving mother to her children, Charles J. Martini Jr., Robin Lynne Martini, and Mindi M. Martini-DeLuca. Marjorie embraced her role as mother-in-law to Anita Martini and Christopher Lee DeLuca with open arms. Her grandchildren-Charles J. Martini III, Christa Lynne Casazza, Matthew Lawrence DiMeglio, Nicole Mae DiMeglio, and Nicholas Lee DeLuca-will miss her loving guidance and endless support. Marjorie's life was further multiplied by her eight great-grandchildren. Marjorie's life was a beautiful dance of joy, service, and love.
Her legacy of kindness and her unwavering optimism will continue to inspire those who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered as a beacon of light in the lives of her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to cross her path. Marjorie's departure from this world leaves behind a legacy of an enduring impact on the hearts she touched. Rest in peace, dear Marjorie, until we meet again in the glory of the everlasting.
A Celebration of life is scheduled on June 28,2025 at the River Dance condominiums, 808 3rd Ave West, Bradenton, FL.
