Martin Garduno, a cherished and devoted family man, passed away on March 1, 2026, in Largo, Florida, following post-liver transplant surgery complications.
Born on November 11, 1969, in the picturesque town of Coatepec Costales, Guerrero, Martin's journey was one of love, commitment, and unwavering kindness. Martin's early life in Guerrero was filled with the rich traditions and close-knit community values that he carried with him throughout his life. His move to Texas marked the beginning of a new chapter, one where he would meet his beloved wife, Leticia, and start a family that would become his greatest pride. Martin was a loving husband to Leticia and a doting father to Rudy (Predeceased), Angel and Emely. The love and memories they shared as a family remained a source of strength and comfort to Martin. Professionally, Martin was known for his exceptional work ethic and warm personality.
As a Banquet Captain at Pier 22, he was respected by his colleagues and loved by patrons for his friendly demeanor and ability to make any event memorable. His passion for service was evident in every task he undertook, and his leadership and dedication left a lasting impression on everyone he worked with. His belief in kindness and compassion was reflected in how he interacted with others, always putting their needs before his own. Martin was a pillar of strength in his community, often volunteering his time and offering a helping hand to those in need.
In his personal life, Martin found joy in the simple pleasures. Gardening was not just a hobby but a testament to his patience and nurturing spirit. He took pride in his garden, and the vibrant blooms were a reflection of the love and care he invested in them. Martin was also an avid soccer player, enjoying the camaraderie and competition the sport offered. But above all, his favorite moments were those spent with his wife and children. Whether it was a quiet evening at home or a family outing, Martin cherished every second with his loved ones. Those who knew Martin will remember him as a loving, kind, and friendly soul. His infectious smile and genuine concern for others made him a beloved figure in his community.
